USCIS Accepting Applications for Parole in Place for Certain Noncitizens Spouses and Stepchildren of U.S. Citizens
Starting August 19, 2024, USCIS will accept Form I-131F, Application for Parole in Place for Certain Noncitizen Spouses and Stepchildren of U.S. Citizens. This allows some noncitizen spouses or stepchildren of U.S. citizens to request a temporary period of parole to enable them to be able to file for a green card without having to leave the United States for processing. The form is only available online and the fee to apply is $580.
