22nd Anniversary of the September 11, 2001, Attacks - United States

Today is the 22nd anniversary of the September 11, 2001, attacks.   As an immigration attorney that started my career in September 2001 this anniversary always seems in some way intensely personal to me.  In many ways this attack and the avalanche of executive orders and regulatory changes that came from it, defined my early career. Yet, I did not lose a loved one in this tragedy, and I was not in NYC, or Arlington, VA or Shanksville, PA.  Like many of my fellow Americans I watched these tragedies, and tales of incredible heroism, unfold on TV and Radio.   

Today, as this solemn anniversary comes around again, I wanted to take just a moment to acknowledge it and how it has changed us all. I remain, today as always, proud to be an American, and proud to be an immigration attorney.  Thank you to all of those who made such incredible sacrifices so that I may continue to do what I love with those I love.
