Interviews on Employment based Adjustment of Status Applicants being waived

Many employment-based adjustment of status applicants have started to get interviews on their final green card application, Adjustment of Status, waived. The policy of requiring all employment-based green card applicants to attend interviews at district CIS offices nationwide had created a huge backlog. This will be positive both for employment-based green card applicants, as well as family-based applicants, who will continue to be interviewed, but will hopefully start to see shorter wait times.
