Immigration Under the Trump Administration: Expect Change and Prepare
Last week was a busy week in immigration. The 47th President of the United States ran on a platform of changing immigration in America. On his first day in office, he signed ten executive orders and proclamations that impact immigration. Many orders deal with immigrants seeking humanitarian benefits and those without legal status or criminal records. These may not be as immediately applicable to most of the readers here. Nonetheless, I wanted to note the fact that some orders, frankly, blur the lines and are overly broad and thus could act as a “catch all” for many legal immigrants.
