A New H1B Season is on the Horizon

Pre-registration for the FY 2025 H-1B cap is expected to open in early March of 2024. This presents an opportunity for prospective applicants and employers to plan ahead and ensure they are ready for the upcoming registration period.  Now is the time for all parties to start cementing their offers and reaching out to legal counsel by early 2024.

This year changes to the H1B program are anxiously awaited.  Lessons learned from the extraordinarily high volume of registrations in FY2024 are expected to be incorporated into a new process. Further, the exact date when the preregistration period will begin and end will also be published in the Federal Register closer to the date.
